I am looking for motivated students interested in experimental particle physics and related technologies. Our group may be a good fit if you are interested in one or more of the following:

・ Large-scale accelerator experiments and international collaborations
・ Detector and readout electronics development
・ Analog/digital circuits, including PCB design, FPGA, and ASIC
・ Hardware-aware AI/ML development
・ Data analysis for physics discovery

International Students

International students should first apply to the UH PhD program through UH Graduate Admissions process. At UH, advisors are not assigned at admission. During the first two years, students focus on coursework and the qualifying exam. PhD students are supported through TA and RA positions, which may include tuition waivers depending on assigned duties.

UH Graduate Students

Motivated students can start research with my group from their first year. Most students hold TA positions while starting research. Research topics are determined through discussion. After passing the qualifying exam, students may transition to full-time RA positions. Please contact me to discuss available PhD positions and research topics.

UH Undergraduate Students

Undergraduate students are welcome to join the group depending on interest and availability. Research topics (data analysis or hardware development) are decided individually. Participation is typically voluntary, with possible stipend support depending on skills and project needs.
